Will people return to church
Return to the building
I know they're online
But will they gather on site?
The people we knew
The families who laughed
The teens who hung out
The inquisitive, uncertain?
What can we do
How can we tempt?
That's what I hear
But they're missing the point
We're all of us in
The presence of God
Together in church
Or sat on our todd
I'm here at the sea
Listening to the waves
Feeling God in the world
All over the place
The same in the woods
Or alongside the lake
God's presence is endless
Noticing's all it takes
It's there we are needed
To gently reveal
That God is at work
Not in church concealed
It's time to step out
Go where God is acting
Meeting, revealing
Our call is to loving
