As we wave farewell to 2021
It's easy to consign the hard days to history
Hope they are lost in the sands of time
Yet hard as some days were
They should not be forgotten
They have taught and healed us
Become a part of who we have become
As we have adapted
Evolved
Changed
Every day has something to celebrate
Some small hope to notice
Some blessing to receive
So as we move into 2022
Let's slow down
Let's take the time
To notice beauty
To highlight hope
To share blessings
Knowing that amongst the good days
Will be hard days
And many in between days
Every day is to be appreciated
