Let's talk about COP28, being held in the middle of the main oil producing region, hosted by a country which gets it's wealth from fossil fuels, anyone see the irony?
Here in the UK it seems that climate justice is very much off the list of important political aims, with "the economy" hailed as now important. But this is disingenuous because renewable sources of energy and improved building practices would actually save money and improve the economic situation. So what's really going on? Could it be that fossil fuel companies are so massive now that they have most of the power in the world economically and over democracies.
I keep praying, keep going, keep campaigning because change is needed, but it does feel hard.
