I've taken a leap into painting animals and I love it. Though this painting of our cat Socks was a huge challenge - it's all that black!
I started with some critically endangered animals including this pangolin.
And these vaquita porpoises which are down to the final 10 in the wild.
I am still trying to get the hair and skin of the Addax right (I've spent over 30 hours on this) but I'm very happy with the silhouette which I painted for the summer solstice.
And I'm thrilled to have been able to create this portrait of a much loved dog for their grieving family.
I wonder what animal I might paint next. Any suggestions?
